with a slight slip a little chołd to Captain ...

I take this opportunity to document the BBC on the works of this extraordinary music:

Lucifer Rising

Less than a half-hour film by Kenneth Anger, the chief occultist and astrologer little world music 60s and 70 Hypnotic, trance, rytualistyczny picture full of references to ancient cults (Egypt, or Celts) in combination with blazing elemental nature and contemporary crowley'owskim occult (Crowley himself appears in a photograph on the wall). Created since 1966, finally appeared in 1980, but was ready in 1972 (oesu, you can get lost ...). For actors in addition to the director's doing the likes of Marianne Faithfull, Jimmy Page, and author of the soundtrack Bobby Beausoleil, Charles Manson associate life sentence now serving time for murder. But I must admit that it is the best music I fell in love in this movie.

it had originally compose Jimmy Page, but his drug problems This effectively prevented, rozwlekając work on the soundtrack for three years, which yielded just 25 minutes of music Angera unsatisfactory. With Beausoleil'em it was not too happy. Men have fallen in Conflict and Beausoleil'a arrested on the way ... But the end result is really excellent. Ambient, psychedelic, slightly space'owo and even a little prog rock you in that sense. BUT ... to the detriment of the original soundtrack of the 2005 reissue contains additional previously unreleased recordings under the name Lucifer Rising Sessions, which in my humble opinion, they beat the original set of the head. There is much more variously, from the experimental folkujących inserts, the dirty bluesujący rock. Weight improvisation, freedom, mood changes. The fact that, to a lesser extent, is part of a ritual in hipnotyczno-movie mood, but as an autonomous board works very well.

How Does A Bill Of Sale Look Like

Rhythm Devils - The Apocalypse Now Sessions

This is just a gem. And I have it on tape! Discovered quite by chance at an unspecified music store at an unspecified country (certainly not in Poland) the draft by The Grateful Dead drummer and his alternate soundtrack to Apocalypse Now. Experimental, trance, tribal journey to the heart of darkness, embellished with the sound all sorts of percussion and other ethnic instruments. A brilliant album. Not only did not get physically, it does not even download at all! But I urge you to intensive exploration. Worth.

Grails "Acid Rain"

Noooo tooooo Speaking at Grailsach we are, then I have to write a brilliant, acquired on DVD Offi "Acid Rain". This is a set of clips to pieces from the album Doomsdayer's Holiday plus a few live recordings and some old school archives in the early years of their business.

What is most captivating in the entire statement, is a brilliant VHSowy climate, both clips, and even the menu and printing. Everything is decorated in the style of shoddy tapes of the 90s and he does this awesome feeling. Lo fi as Whats up. Clips themselves are pieces of various movies, archival material and cholera knows what else. In conjunction with the music creates a very peculiar entity. Hard to get, except to download even more difficult (What a paradox), but it's worth a grab.

Zak Riles

Zak Riles, a beloved member of my band Grails with his first (and I think for now only) solo album. There are a lot of acoustic, folk play, but also a well known band from his alma psychedelic mood, and even grailsowy repertoire (specifically the theme of the Silk Road). The album is not perhaps too original, much less does not stick out too much from the team accomplishments Rilesa, but listening to this really dobrze. "Before the Refuge" z żywszymy perkusjonaliami i iście wschodnim motywem jest naprawdę wkręcającym numerem. Poza tym jako fan naiwnie łykam wszystko co mi ci goście podrzucą.

Taj Mahal Travellers "July 15, 1972"

Napierdalam dzisiaj pościki jak szalony...

Znów trochę japońszczyzny, z podobnej kategorii co Tetragrammaton, jednak zdecydowanie bardziej abstrakcyjne, przestrzenne, psychodeliczne granie. Syntezatorowe plamy, szamańskie delayowane głosy, dzwonki, gitarowe fuzzy, dronowe przestrzenie, długie improwizowane kompozycje, oraz cała masa innych mniej lub bardziej standard instruments. Horny intriguing album.

But on UbuWeb is a document of TMT on the road.

Tetragrammaton "Elegy For Native Tounges"

Superb improvised music from Japan. Immediately propsy the name and cover. And the content itself is even more interesting. Hurdy-gurdy drones game, wild saxophone, subtle guitar and free-jazz, opętańcza, though still slightly subdued playing drums. Weirdly mesmerizing trance chaos. A lot of this jazz, and yet is imbued with such ethereal, psychedelic ethnic climate (especially in the song Santa Sangre). Rewelka.

is offered a double release, where the second disc filled a live recording. Oresteia in One Piece Part one of the best positions the entire album ....

The Source

highly recommend videos of 1999 Fri The Source. Profiles of the three most important representatives of the movement Beat: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs'a told the whole mass of archival materials, videos, performances by Johnny Depp dashed, John Turturo and Dennis Hopper, who recite fragments of texts the aforementioned writers. For this bit of Nealu Cassidy, Ken Kesey'u, etc., and the historical outline of the whole movement, in the context of the subsequent emergence of the hippies.

Teeth Of The Sea

The break silence on the blog, which no one will read the remarkable team I decided to advertise in the islands, whose second album "Your Mercury has just released (obviously not with us), Teeth Of The Sea.

first record this band broke me. Mistakenly thrown into the drawer and post-rock (probably by his beloved by post nautical theme in the name and title of the album "Orphaned By The Ocean"), TOTS presented its blend of muted, psychedelic rock surround the sublime, at times jazzy sound of trumpets and much dronowym approach theme. Latin Inches track today świdruje me in head ... The second disc brings above all a much more electronic sound. The widespread use of synthesizers, and even a retro dance beats such as Magus in the Cemetery of the early surprise me, but swallowed them immediately. Less ambient and heavy here climate, and more krautrockowej psychedelia. I find it hard to say whether the more I like it since the first album, but definitely I like that you guys do not combine and repeat. I wonder if this band is a minimalist approach to the drums, which either did not exist at all, or limited to tom, snare and one sheet. Here, moreover, the implementation of a piece from the first album the Swear Blind Alsations Melting.
