The Vim & Vigour Of Alvarius B & Cerberus Shoal

Split Alvarius B and Cerberus Shoal, on which both projects present their interpretations of the same three compositions. I do not know exactly how they had a creative contribution by real musicians in the various tracks, but the effect is very interesting, but unfortunately I have to admit that the issue of Cerberus Shoal much more captivated me. The opening "Dings" performed Alvariusa peters out a little bit of force trying to combine a bit irritating pseudo-spoken-verse wordowe (cool), with more melodic choruses (say). The other two pieces is already a classic, very intimate, ugly, slightly adulterated balladki. Grating, but captivating. But what they did with the material Cerberus Shoal is now a veritable poetry. "Blood Baby" with a little twist raises the Balkans at the thought of A Hawk And A Hacksaw, although there is more but eksperymentalizmu. Chorus sung almost a capella (not counting the din in the background, or low wind chimes and trumpets track goes through through the festive din) "Viking Christmas" is simply beautiful and damn touching. And the "Dings" is an epic, almost a 20-minute folk masterpiece. Unfortunately, with such a complex, richly diverse, avant-garde aranżach mourn Alan Bishop falls a little bit poorly.
