Tambov. lasts more than a year the investigation against Jehovah's Witnesses in the city of Tambov. 17 January 2011 Paul Stiegaczow believer was charged under Section 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for this liability for inciting religious hatred and hostility. But the prosecutor refused to confirm the indictment and referred the matter back for further consideration.
Before, 17 March 2010 , three operational groups came together with the intention of searching for three private homes of Jehovah's Witnesses in Tambov. Despite extensive material in the investigation did not provide sufficient arguments use of unlawful acts against Stiegaczowa and other Jehovah's Witnesses in Tambov. Vasily Kalin, chairman of the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia, commented on these events as follows: "When we see how much effort is devoted to give a crime activities of law-abiding Christians, we conclude that the trained officers of the judiciary be a false trail walk ".
In response to the request of the Administrative Center on the illegal Investigators Criminal Procedure Committee of the Russian Federation on Feb. 9, 2011 he officially announced that the investigative bodies in the Tambov refers decision the European Court of Human Rights concerning the Jehovah's Witnesses, which must be taken into account when considering the arguments of the Administrative Center. Under the said order the liquidation and prohibition of religious community of Jehovah's Witnesses in Moscow were found to be unlawful.
